Uitkyk Wine Estate

The estate's neo-classical manor house, completed in 1788 is one of the only three 18th century, double story, flat roofed, Georgian style houses left in the country.

This is the reason for the Estate' name Uitkyk, meaning Lookout or Outlook. It looks out across the Cape Flats to Table Mountain in the distance.
