This luxurious pedicure begins by soaking the feet in an energy-balancing copper bath, followed by a warm massage of the legs to reduce water retention and stimulate circulation. Hot stones are used to massage the soles of the feet and relax the calf muscles. Copper, considered throughout history as an effective aid to combat inflammation, rheumatism and arthritis, is naturally absorbed by the skin upon contact. By competing with toxic minerals, this essential element helps to protect the body against the absorption of harmful substances. The 60 minute pedicure ends with an intensely hydrating African potato masque to soften rough areas and lock in moisture. Rich in antioxidants, the immune boosting and healing properties of the African potato is particularly beneficial for soothing, restoring and revitalising dry, chapped heals.
