Terra del Capo to host French inspired feast during Franschhoek Bastille weekend

This year’s DStv Franschhoek Bastille Festival is around the corner and Terra del Capo Antipasto Bar at Anthonij Rupert Wyne Estate will be hosting a French feast fit for royalty, over the weekend of 15 and 16 July. An indulgent French inspired menu awaits you to treat your taste buds to a sensory celebration. Each course has been carefully paired with a wine from the estate’s portfolio – adding the final touches to what promises to be the perfect day out.

The bespoke culinary and wine pairing experience is limited to 26 guests and includes delectable dishes such as French onion soup shots; succulent Orange and Red wine braised Beef, and a heavenly Valrhona dark chocolate Cremeux. The wine lineup includes the L’Ormarins Blanc de Blancs and recently release Jean Roi Rosé – SA’s first premium Rosé, the estate’s Old Vines Initiative wine, the Cape of Good Hope Caroline, as well as the limited release L’Ormarins Port.

The cost is R380 per person, which includes a four-course meal and the wines paired with each dish. Booking is essential as seating is limited. For queries and reservations contact Elana Bernhardt on elana@rupertwines.com or 021 874 9094.
