Embrace the festive season with the effervescence of Steenberg’s beautifully crafted and ultra-elegant bubblies.

Adorn your table with the golden shimmer of Steenberg 1682 Brut Chardonnay MCC and savour whiffs of buttery brioche and fresh green apples rising from your flute. This richly layered blanc de blancs is a luxurious Méthode Cap Classique crafted in the time honoured French tradition of secondary bottle fermentation that gives rise to its fine mousse and opulent complexity. It is crisp on the palate with lemon zest acidity and a toasty, savoury character.

Steenberg’s blushing 1682 Pinot Noir MCC is sheer summer seduction. Beguiling with its pale pink hue and whiffs of wild strawberry sorbet, raspberry meringue and citrus blossom, this MCC strikes an elegant pose. The new 2016 vintage entices with savoury notes of freshly baked brioche and a fine, creamy mousse that delights the palate, lingering long after the last sip.

Both these sublime Cap Classiques carry the mark of quality of the iconic Steenberg swan embossed on the bottles.

If you prefer a more light hearted bubbly, let Steenberg’s frisky Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc put the fizz into your festive season. This fashion forward, bottle fermented summer bubbly is fresh and fruity. Its youthful style makes it ultra-crisp and lively. With fabulous good looks from modish packaging, you’ll want to be seen in the company of this dazzling summer muse. At your first encounter, expect a burst of litchi, guava, pineapple, mango and green fig to rise from your flute. Then take a sip and let the fizzy pineapple and passion fruit refresh your palate.

All three Steenberg bubblies are available country wide. The Sparking Sauvignon Blanc sells for R120 at the Steenberg cellar in Constantia, the 1682 Chardonnay MCC sells for R175, whilst the Pinot Noir MCC 2016 has a cellar door price of R210.
